Let a pro give you the pointers you need to bring your workout to a new level. A certified trainer costs $50-60 per hour on average. If you can't swing the price, then split the cost with a friend. Most gyms have trainers available to answer questions about the machines and workouts available. There's also a plethora of fitness DVDs available for rent or purchase that can help you get a good visual idea of the proper form of workouts and exercises.
