The No-Makeup Makeup Look

When it comes to selecting the perfect makeup strategies, many women actually strive to achieve a fresh-faced, natural look, believe it or not. It probably sounds like the ultimate conundrum, applying makeup to look au natural, but it's a reality. In fact, plenty of women strive to get the perfect no-makeup makeup look. The good news is that putting on a pretty face requires little time and little cosmetics. Begin by cleaning your face and scrubbing off any residue. Apply a layer of moisturizer to the face. You don't have to spend a fortune -- almost any old moisturizer will do the trick. Next apply a foundation primer, which is exactly what it sounds like, a primer for your foundation. After that, apply either a tinted moisturizer that will even out your skin tone or apply a light layer of mineral powder.

Then use a highlighting pen to touch up trouble spots. Apply to the corners of the eye, frown lines and any other wear and tear areas on the face. The ideal color should be a shade lighter than foundation. Once you've applied the highlighter, combine it with a concealer brush or using your fingertip. Apply a beige eye shadow from the bottom of the lid to the crease. Next use an eyelash curler to curl the lashes. Then follow up with a coat of black mascara. On the cheeks, do sweeps of bronze or rose blush and blend well. The ideal shade is one that's the shade of your skin when you exercise. For lips, you want to avoid bright, bold colors. Instead opt for nude, beige, peach or light pink on the lips to polish off that natural look.
