First her job, now her fiancee. Just months after losing her talk show gig on the OWN channel, Rosie O'Donnell is now coping with more turmoil. Only this time the drama is personal, not professional. The 50-year-old comedienne took to her blog last week to reveal that fiancee Michelle Rounds was suffering from a rare, cancer-like illness that has taken a major toll on the beauty's health. According to O'Donnell, the couple had to put their nuptials on hold to deal with some serious medical issues. For months, they had no idea what was wrong with Rounds and were making little progress with doctors. Earlier this year, O'Donnell wrote, "We wander thru (sic) the maze of medical mystery confused... It seemed impossible no one knew what was wrong." Months later, the "mystery" has been solved. As it turns out, Rounds was suffering from aggressive fibromatoses, a non-cancerous condition that oddly enough mimics cancer. The disease affects about one out of 3 million people. Rounds underwent surgery back in June to remove tumors. And now it appears she's on the mend. O'Donnell writes that Rounds is "recovering from surgery in June, getting stronger every day."
