Breaking up is hard to do. For longtime lovers and Hollywood A-listers Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, it's quickly becoming a bear of a problem... literally. That's because a custody battle is brewing over the couple's beloved mixed mutt, Bear. According to Radaronline.com, both Twilight stars are prepared to fight for the cuddly canine, who they saved from a shelter in New Orleans. Although sources say 26-year-old Pattinson and 22-year-old Stewart aren't on speaking terms, it appears there is plenty left to say regarding their Bear. Pattison supposedly made it perfectly clear where he thinks their dog belongs. One insider tells Radaronline.com, "After Rob moved his things out of their Los Angeles home, he then told Kristen he wanted Bear. She was heartbroken - they adopted Bear together and she always felt that he was their little baby. But Rob was so hurt by Kristen’s actions he decided that he wants the dog to help him get over what happened. After all, a dog is a man’s best friend and Bear is such a good companion." That said, Stewart is adding insult to injury by refusing to give into her estranged beau's wishes. Says the source, "Kristen won’t give up Bear in a hurry. She helped Rob save Bear from Parvo disease, which nearly took its life when it was a puppy. She wants joint custody - and it could get a little messy." Stewart was caught red-handed carrying on an alleged affair with her Snow White and the Huntsmen director, Rupert Sanders. Despite Stewart issuing a sappy public apology to Pattinson, he has reportedly moved out of the $6 million mansion the two shared. The couple have been together for four years.
