Troubled Terminator 3 star Nick Stahl took a moment from his busy schedule being missing to drop a line to his nearest and dearest via email. One of the people who didn't make the cut on his email list was his estranged wife, who's been pleading with police to help find the 32-year-old addict. According to TMZ, the father-of-one reached out to a bunch of friends via email with an apology. He assured those closest to him that he was currently being treated for his substance abuse issues and he would be unreachable for the next month. Of course, there's a good chance the only thing he's "treating" himself to is one long drug binge. Even friends say they're skeptical that Stahl's on the road to recovery. Interestingly enough, wife Rose wasn't on the group email. So far, police say they have no intention of closing the missing persons case on Stahl. Sources say that Stahl has supposedly been hanging out on Skid Row. It was just a few months ago that the actor was accused of doing drugs by his estranged wife who has been trying to keep him away from their 2-year-old daughter. Prior to hearing about the email, Rose told People she wasn't holding out much hope. She says, "He could have overdosed, that's one thought. And I'm wondering if there will be a body recovered." However, Rose was surprised Saturday night to hear from Stahl himself. He gave her the song-and-dance about rehab, and when she called Sunday morning, his story checked out. TMZ reports that Rose isn't even considering divorce right now -- she's just happy he's safe.
