It looks like Miley Cyrus can be tamed after all. The Disney darling turned wild child is about to have the best of both worlds when she ties the knot to Hollywood hottie Liam Hemsworth, her on-again, off-again beau of three years. Cyrus tells People magazine, "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam." According to People, the 22-year-old Australian actor popped the question last week, offering up a 3.5-carat diamond ring for her hand in marriage. The stunning piece of jewelry was designed by famed jeweler Neil Lane. The impending nuptials shouldn't come as much of a surprise as the young lovers have been together more than apart since filming the Nicholas Sparks film The Last Song in 2009. In August 2010, Cyrus and Hemsworth temporarily called it quits, but it wasn't the last song for them after all. Soon after their break, the cute co-stars were hot and heavy once again. Since reuniting, they have been thisclose, making many red carpet appearances to promote Hemsworth's Hunger Games and other projects they are involved in. As recently as March, the former Hannah Montana star was spotted donning a giant diamond sparkler on her ring finger. As the rumor mill began churning, the 19-year-old singer-actress went into denial mode, maintaining that she had been sporting the brilliant bauble since last fall. But that was then and this is now. This will be the first marriage for both Cyrus and Hemsworth.
