The days of Beamers, bling and blondes are a thing of the past for former reality star Jon Gosselin. Despite managing to keep his head above water since single-handedly destroying the income source of his entire family, the 35-year-old fallen star is seriously struggling to make ends meet. In fact, he tells Star magazine that he can barely afford to keep a roof over his head and is potentially facing jail time. The down-and-out d-bag tells Star, "I can't afford to pay my rent, and the domestic-relations staff tell me they will put me in jail unless I pay child support. I am a single father who's trying to make ends meet during a recession. What do I do — pay child support or rent? I need to support my kids, but I could lose my house, and I need my home to continue to have custody." Jon maintains that because of his upstanding decision to pull the plug on the hit TLC Jon and Kate Plus Eight and protect his kids from the fame game he now finds himself in an awful catch-22. He also goes on to say that while ex-wife Kate is living high on the hog, he isn't so fortunate. The father of eight whines to Star magazine, "I decided to take the high road and quit reality television and now look, I'm going to end up in jail because I can't afford to pay child support to Kate who has plenty of money. I'm doing the best I can, but life is so expensive with eight kids!" Although the exes have supposedly been playing nice with each other, Jon is obviously drinking the haterade once again after learning that his ex has a new reality show in the works. Kate is currently shopping a new dating show to find the perfect partner. Jon was quick to blast his wife's latest career move, saying, "I think this is completely ridiculous! We have eight children and they need us; she is putting reality TV and dating in front of the kids who need to have their mother. Why not date the old-fashioned way? I know I have a lot to be thankful for, but Kate's need to be famous is not one of them." Jon is currently dating single mother of three, Liz Jannetta. The good news is that Jon will never go hungry, not when his plate is still full of sour grapes.
