It looks like Jenny may be leaving the chopping block. Singer-dancer-actress Jennifer Lopez's future with American Idol is apparently in limbo. The stunning female judge told Ellen DeGeneres that she hasn't decided whether she will stay or go next season. During a recent appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, she waffled over her AI plans, saying, "I don't know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down." The brunette beauty's hesitation supposedly has to do with her other professional obligations. Lopez's statement is hardly music to Nigel Lythgoe's ears. The American Idol executive producer tells TMZ they are desperate to keep the "Hit the Floor" singer on the judges' panel. Lythgoe says, "We want her back. I want her back. I know how much she loves doing the show and how much she cares for the kids. It's a business. She has to weigh everything. I know she's gotten lots of offers to do movies and other things." Lopez is set to tour with singer Enrique Iglesias this summer. One insider tells E! News that "she's just too busy." Of course, everybody in Hollywood knows if the paycheck fits, she likely won't quit.
