Reality stars Giuliana and Bill Rancic are going to be the proud parents of a baby boy. The couple, who have tried desperately to conceive, learned the sex of their offspring recently. They revealed the exciting news at their baby shower over the weekend. The 41-year-old father-to-be tells E! News, "We are beyond excited to be having a little boy. We are so ready for everything that comes with being a new mom and dad!" Meanwhile, the 37-year-old breast cancer survivor said, "We just can't wait!" After trying and failing with fertilization treatments, the couple eventually opted to have a child via a gestational surrogate. The baby is due at the end of the summer. The E! News anchor has been there every step of the way through the pregnancy. Although they live in another state, both she and Bill have gone the distance to be with the surrogate for the doctor's appointments. The birth of their son will be a bright spot for the Rancics, who have endured their fair share of heartache over the last few years. After suffering a miscarriage, Giuliana learned that she had breast cancer. The Fashion Police cohost underwent a double mastectomy to increase her chances of survival. In past interviews, she has made it very clear that she and her husband of five years would stop at nothing to have children. Earlier this year she told the Today Show, "At the end of the day, whether you have a baby naturally, through adoption, through surrogacy, it's your baby. You're going to love that baby and that's all that matters."
