It was a bittersweet weekend for Kelsey Grammer, who welcomed his first child with fourth wife Kayte Walsh. Faith Evangeline Elisa Grammer was born on Friday, weighing in at six pounds, two ounces. While the couple was overjoyed with Faith's arrival, they are mourning the loss of Faith's twin brother, who died in utero. In January, the couple announced that they were expecting twins. However, things didn't go as planned. The 31-year-old former flight attendant and the actor told People magazine, "Mother and child are in excellent health." But it wasn't all good news. They then disclosed the fate of their son, who passed away shortly after their revelation, "We were ecstatic earlier this year when we announced that Kayte was carrying twins. Tragically, we lost the little boy shortly thereafter. This was not something we cared to make known publicly at the time. It was unspeakably painful and we know that people will understand our desire to keep the news private then, as we know they will respect our privacy in this matter now." Sadly, this isn't the first pregnancy tragedy for Walsh and the father of five. She also lost the baby she had been carrying back in the fall of 2010. Despite their loss, Walsh and Grammer are counting their blessings. They added, "A glorious birth with a lingering sadness is ours today. We choose to celebrate the life that has been given us. We proudly introduce our Faith to the world today looking forward to the days ahead and the children yet to come."
