Royal Caribbean has had to cancel a cruise that featured a meet-and-greet with Kate Gosselin, RadarOnline.com reports. "Set Sail with Kate" was supposed to take place Aug. 12-19, and it featured a cocktail party, a Q&A and photo op with the original Octomom. Typically, when "celebrities" make these arrangements, they get a flat fee for each passenger who signs up. However, there just weren't enough of those to make the cruise worthwhile. "Yes, that event has been canceled. We just didn't get the turnout that we desired and mutually we agreed that if we didn't get it, we would cancel," President of Luxury Cruises, who merged with the company originally organizing the event, Alice Travel, exclusively told RadarOnline.com, "It was nothing to do with her. We needed to hit certain numbers and they just weren't where they needed to be." And Radar reports that Gosselin felt so bad about having to cancel that she reached out to each and every person who booked a cruise - to the tune of $1,900-$3,175 a ticket. "Kate asked for everybody's names, addresses and phone numbers and reached out to each one personally," a spokeswoman said.
