Over the past few years, E! News host Giuliana Rancic has made it perfectly clear that her number-one priority in life is to become a mom. And she's just a couple of months away from having her greatest wish come true. But the impending birth of her bouncing baby boy, who is being carried by a gestational surrogate, is suddenly being overshadowed by headlines that the 37-year-old may actually miss her son's big debut. Radaronline.com, along with other media outlets, reported that the television personality/reality star might not be in the country when her baby arrives because she's covering the summer Olympics in London. Earlier this week, Rancic told the Today show, "The baby is due the end of August. And so I wrap at the Olympics on August 11th, so we are going to be on standby. But we think it is going to be OK, the doctors have assured us ... He thinks even maybe early September the baby will come." Somewhere, somehow, someone managed to take away from that statement that there was a chance the mom-to-be would tardy to the birth party. The reports are pretty hard to believe because the Rancics have been religious about traveling out of state just to be there for the routine doctor's appointments. Rancic was quick to debunk the junk rumors, Tweeting, "Headline that i may miss our baby's birth is making me laugh! I come home from London Aug 10, how is that first week of September?" Timing really is everything.
