Stand-up comic Gallagher was rushed to the hospital after suffering his second heart attack this month. The 65-year-old comedian, famous for his watermelon assaults with a sledgehammer, had his first heart attack on March 14 and was placed in a medically induced coma. He was released from the hospital last week, but started feeling bad over the weekend. According to TMZ, it was no laughing matter when the funny guy ran out of his heart medication. His rep tells TMZ, "Gallagher suffered a mild heart attack today at a hospital in Sedona due to complications from his previous heart attack. He is awake and resting comfortably now." It sounds like part of the comic's problem is that despite the health scare, he has yet to slow down. His rep confided to E! News, "Gallagher doesn't like people telling him what to do, but he just needs to rest. We're just praying he'll listen." Gallagher has intimated that he's ready to call it quits as far as touring is concerned. He recently stated that he was "sick and tired of it." The good news is that the hits will keep coming -- Gallagher plans on focusing on screenwriting, creating graphic novels and other projects that don't require as much travel.
