Broadway baby Kristin Chenoweth was rushed to the hospital after getting whacked in the head by a piece of lighting equipment in a wicked accident. According to TMZ, the blonde bombshell was working as a guest star on The Good Wife when a gust of wind sent the equipment sailing... right into the blonde bombshell's noggin. Sources say the 43-year-old actress and singer hit the ground, banging her head on the concrete during the frightening incident. And it wasn't a case of the larger-than-life thespian being overdramatic. The insider tells TMZ, "That area is a vortex for wind ... and a big gust of wind blew the lighting off the scaffolding." According to sources, she seemed to be "knocked out cold." One onlooker maintains, "I thought she was dead at first." Chenoweth was rushed to the hospital, where she was admitted. But it appears things aren't as bad as they seem. The New York Fire Department tells TMZ that she was being treated for minor injuries. The Emmy-and-Tony-winning actress has a history of on-set injuries. She hurt her neck during a stint of Wicked, fell off the stage in The Apple Tree and tripped down a flight of steps while filming Glee.
