With all of the money Amanda Bynes earned as a child actor, the troubled 26-year-old should hire a chauffeur or a driving coach before some real damage is done. Friday was yet another day marred by a dangerous driving incident. In yet another alleged hit-and-run, the Easy A actress supposedly sideswiped a pick-up truck with her pricey Range Rover. Sergeant Ben Zucker of the Los Angeles police department tells People that Bynes did her thing and fled, causing some major police activity. Zucker explains, "At 4:25 p.m., we were notified of a possible hit-and-run. The caller followed Miss Bynes for a short distance to a gas station." Conveniently, a police helicopter was in the area, along with six cop cars, who all cornered Bynes. This isn't Bynes first run-in with the law. Last month, she was arrested after hitting a cop car while driving under the influence. Just a few days later she hopped a curb and stopped traffic while executing a dangerous turn on two separate occasions. The good news for Bynes is that this time she may be off the hook. Sgt. Zucker adds, "It turned out the damage to the pick-up truck was so minor that it was very plausible she had no idea that she hit anyone. Because of that, we decided not to charge her with hit and run, took a traffic report instead and sent her on her way. There were no arrests made, and no one was injured." As it so happens, Bynes was apparently sober during the latest incident, which left nothing more than some very minor damage to the front fender. Unfortunately for Bynes, it isn't all good news these days. Radaronline.com reported late last week that she will be charged with failure to take a chemical test for driving under the influence. A law enforcement source confirms to Radaronline.com, "Amanda Bynes refused to take a breathalyzer test, or blood test, which is required under California law when someone is arrested for a DUI. Bynes will be officially charged with refusal to take a chemical test in connection with being arrested on suspicion of DUI, and this should happen in the next one to two weeks. Amanda's first court date will be in Beverly Hills at the beginning of June. She won't be required to be there because it's only a misdemeanor."
